How to Wear your Belt Buckle

There are no rules when it comes to your accessories and these days more and more people are dressing up the belt and buckle.   Don’t be confused if your belt has snaps with the choice to interchange your buckles and accessorize your outfit.  Most common belts have the traditional permanent belt buckle that does not have snaps or accessibility to remove the buckle.  However if you purchase a belt that does give you the option of changing your buckle those are the best and most versatile.

No matter what the occasion or latest fashion your traditional belt will always be able to keep up with the trend when you can change your belt buckle.  Buckles are a statement of the person wearing them.  They can be flashy and ritzy or a logo of your favorite car, sport or design.  There are many hot designs out there to add character to your belt.

Your belt buckle can be worn as a single ornament placed in the middle of your waist.  Laced through the belt loops, the belt comes together at the middle of your waist and the buckle hook on the back of the buckle is placed comfortably into the hole in the belt that fits accordingly.  Then wow! Some rodeo experts have designed belts that display their trophy winning buckles.  By attaching each buckle around the belt it creates a “concho” or western ranch style belt.  These however cannot be strung through the belt loops of your jeans or pants.  They are made to wear outside of the loops.  These are few and far between as you need to win a lot of buckles to surround your waistline in these.  Also it may take the work of a jeweler to add a loop or stay to the buckle to keep the buckles on the belt.

A belt buckle is not only for those from Texas or those who rodeo, ride horses or participate in western events.  These buckles are for everybody and for all fashion types.  Some have even worn their buckles off to the left or right side of their waist.  Not always the popular way but again “no rules apply”.
